CS Remote Care Security Facts

To benefit from CS Remote Care, you will need no extra software. Your Konica Minolta system is able to communicate with us directly using wireless GSM or GPRS technology, via e-mail or fax connection – and it is 100 % secure.
The device can only transmit device data - no print, copy, scan or fax jobs. Your own data files remains secure.
There are two types of memory your Konica Minolta MFP works with. The CS Remote Care system retrieves data only from the machine memory and does not touch data in the image memory or the hard disk drive. In general, it is impossible to get any data you have not released for access.
Customer security is our guiding principle
The CS Remote Care communication routes are very flexible but there is absolutely no way we or others can access your network or your company data, even when using Email or other communication methods such as fax or modem.
When using email, we of course use DES and AES encryption to secure all data your device is sending or which we transmit.
