CS Remote Care

How does it work?

The CS Remote Care system uses email, wireless GSM/GPRS modems or fax/telephone lines to transmit data to and from the output devices.  A block diagram of the system is shown below.

• The Konica Minolta communication server handles all incomming and outgoing data.
• Meter readings and alarm call details are passed through from the communication server to the SQL database server and fed directly into our service management platform.
• Konica Minolta internals like technicians and system engineers and you can monitor the devices via the web.
• Each connected device could be contacted every day to ensure that it is still up and running well. The system attempts this three times, if this fails at the third attempt Konica Minolta is sent an alarm to alert staff to a potential problem.
